What to Expect

Akimi Studio is a private, appointment-based piercing studio located in Marikina. Our sessions are designed to be calm, safe, and highly personalized. We follow strict hygiene protocols and use professional-grade sterilization equipment for every session.

Before Booking

Downpayment

We require a ₱500 non-refundable downpayment to reserve your slot. This is consumable on the day of your appointment.

No-show & Rescheduling Fees

No-show fee: ₱1,000 (non-consumable)

Rescheduling fee: ₱500 (non-consumable)

These cover additional secretarial time and booking adjustments. These fees are not deductible from your session cost.

Late arrivals (beyond 10 minutes) will be charged a ₱500 late fee.

Age Policy

• 7 to 15 years old: First lobes only. Must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian with valid IDs and a signed consent form.

• 16 to 17 years old: Other piercings allowed except advanced projects. Must bring their own ID and a signed parental consent form.

• 18+ years old: Must bring a valid ID only.

Health & Safety

Please inform us in advance if you have:

• Allergies (e.g., to nickel, latex, alcohol, iodine)

• Skin irritation or existing piercings on the area • Keloid-prone skin

• Blood disorders or blood-thinning medication

• Epilepsy, hepatitis, or other health conditions

• If you are currently pregnant or under 12 months postpartum

• If you already have 3 or more healing piercings

Timing & Life Events

Ask yourself before booking:

• Do I have any upcoming ID photos, surgeries, or events that will affect healing?

• Will I be swimming or playing sports soon?

• Am I willing to avoid touching, removing, or sleeping on the area? If your answer is yes to any of these, consider booking at a later time to avoid issues.

On the Day of Your Appointment

Before you arrive:

• Eat a full meal

• Avoid caffeine or alcohol

• Come well-rested

• Come alone unless you’re a minor or need support Bring the following: • Valid government-issued ID

• Printed/digital consent form (sent after booking)

• If underage, a signed parental consent form

• Full payment (we accept multiple modes)
